1974: - Ontario Motor Speedway, Ontario, CA. Reg's 1st AMA National Win. This was the first year of the BMW R90S and Reg took to it well. He won the race by over a minute - 2nd place was Yvon Duhamel, and 3rd place was Steve McLaughlin.
