The CLASS Team...is
a group of fun loving,
experienced riders who
began as students. Each
is steeped in the
Pridmore
knowledge of what it
takes to be smooth and
in control on a
motorcycle and have an
unusual ability to
impart their knowledge
to you. Almost
every one of them has
been riding since they
were kids, and together,
they have hundreds of
years of motorcycling
experience (no kidding).
Some of them race or
have raced in the past,
but all of them, having
been students, know
where you're
coming from and how to
make your experience
better. We think you'll
also find there's a
chemistry here that
makes learning easy and
a whole lotta fun...

Reg
Pridmore - Santa
Paula, CA is the
originator and
headmaster of CLASS. Reg
won the first 3 AMA
Superbike Championships
in 1976, 1977 and 1978
and a few years back, was inducted into
the AMA Hall of Fame.
He taught his first
school in his race
leathers in Denver in
1974. An affable English
expatriate with a quick
wit, he has an
uncompromising
desire to teach you what
he's learned over the
years. Don't let the
collar and tie fool you: even after many
years out of
competition, he still
loves to go in deep and
come out hard. Challenge
him, and his response
will always be: "Wheel
it out, mate".

Fred Willink
- San Jose, CA.
CLASS Instructor: 12 years
Fred began racing when his kids were old
enough to walk, and even now that they are out
of the house his passion continues! He travels
the country meeting up with Reg and CLASS at
every school, but in between you will find him
racing his Triumph Thruxton in the AHRMA
Thruxton Cup Challenge. At school, you'll
see a lot of Fred as he takes up much of the
afternoon classroom chat while Reg goes on
track.

 |
Gigi Scherrey
- Santa Paula, CA
CLASS Instructor: 10 years
As Reg's *lady friend* and right hand, Gigi
has the tough
job of working for CLASS
full time - which means
in the office during the
off season, and
traveling around the
country to help conduct
and teach schools all
summer long. Reg taught
her to ride from scratch and though she still
calls herself very much
a student, she enjoys
sharing the knowledge she has gleaned over the
years with CLASS. When she's not in the office
or on the race track, chances are you'll find
her on her bicycle or dirt bike! |
 |
Stuart Beatson
- Beaver Dam, VA
CLASS Instructor: 24 years
Stu is affectionately known as Reg's
"oldest" instructor having been with Reg since
dirt was new, I mean since when he
first took on helpers in
'83.
A racer back in the day, Stuart won the AMA
Battle of Twins
Championship on his BMW
Boxer in 1984. But he
still enjoys ripping around on big twins!
These days, you'll find Stu working as the
service manager at
Morton's BMW motorcycle
dealership in Fredericksburg, VA. |
 |
Gery Torok -
New Jersey exit 46
CLASS Instructor: 16 years
Gery is a hard core enthusiastic street
rider and sport tourer
who often times just
packs a couple of things
in a tank bag and heads
off cross country.
With a very good sense
of what it is about
his CLASS experience
that has made him so
much better, Gery enjoys
sharing this knowledge
with students.
Experience, knowledge, and desire to help: It's an unbeatable
combination and another
reason why CLASS
instructors are simply
the best! |
 |
Phil Smith -
Ojai, CA
CLASS Instructor: 22 years
Originally from England, Phil grew up around the old
Triumph factory.
Motorcycles are in his
blood - though these
days it's more Hondas
than Triumphs. Currently
Phil is a sales manager
at
Cal Coast
Motorsports, here in
Ventura, CA. One
of Reg's original
instructors, from way
back in the days when
Jason was just cutting
his teeth at school. He
used to race in those
days and
even now, in his spare, time he
likes to ride
motorcycles, very fast.

 |
Gary Crandall
- Merced, CA
CLASS Instructor: 17 years
Gary is always smiling! Keeps us wondering
what he's thinking about. Gary is fast and
smooth and has a great eye for helping riders
get faster and smoother themselves. His
day job involves wrenching on bikes but when
it's time for school, Gary is there and all
smiles. A past club racer, we've heard some very
interesting stories about race bikes and Daytona
with Ted...

 |
Ted Holman -
Grants Pass OR
CLASS Instructor: 17 years
Ted could very well be the Missing Link. But
he's a gifted and talented rider and has the
ability to teach as well, so Reg keeps him
around. He first came to school back in the late
80's and Reg tells stories of how he would
crash, and get up smiling, and crash again. But,
his riding came along very well and he's since
become a very good instructor for us. Ted is
also branching out into the auto and motorcycle
business. Be sure to check out his offerings at
http://automaniagp.com/Welcome.html |
 |
Craig Hansen
- Medford, OR
CLASS Instructor: 12 years
Craig, along with son Mason and wife Connie,
owns and runs
Hansen's
Motorcycles up in Medford Oregon. They
specialize in the Euro brands and Craig
generally takes a lot of heat for having to deal
with warranty issues... Another long time CLASS
student who did a little club racing, Craig has
a truly uncanny ability to help riders get the
most out of themselves and move on up the
ladder. |
 |
Ron Joyner-
Santa Clarita, CA
CLASS
Instructor: 18 years
Ronny is our
resident rocket
scientist. Actually he's a computer
engineer for JPL in
Pasadena, CA but what
makes him happiest is
racing around on his
CBR1000RR - when he's not
diving to the depths of
the 7 seas exploring
shipwrecks and looking
for lobster! Ron is a very
experienced rider who
commutes LA freeways by
bike (!) but has also
had experience racing
and teaching at CLASS
for the past eon.
Experience has given Ron great skill and a
keen eye to be able to
observe and pass on his
insights as a teacher. |
 |
Andy Kettle-
County Cork, Ireland
CLASS
Instructor: 10 years
Andy is our resident wilde Irishman and
helps keep the humor flowing - like with his
morning award ceremonies - you most likely don't
want to receive one of his awards.... His
enthusiasm is contagious and Andy's got the
skill and the time to help you become a better
rider. You'll find Andy's business
online at
www.onlineparts.com
where he's selling all
kinds of items for your
motorcycle.
|
 |
Aaron White-
Grand Rapids, MI
CLASS
Instructor: 5 years
Aaron
began his riding on a motocross bike as a
kid. He raced Hare
Scrambles and MX for
years and then decided
he wanted to ride street
bikes - really fast! He
began coming to CLASS and as his
skill grew and we got to
know him, he was a
natural fit for the
CLASS program. A
CCS racer, Aaron's
very fast but he's also
very patient and helpful
to riders at every end
of the spectrum. You'll
see him at our eastern
schools with his dad Joe
- another great guy - in
tow. |
 |
John Hardin
- Santa Paula, CA
CLASS
Instructor: 4 years
A neighbor, Reg first met John at the
Santa Paula Airport where they are both pilots
and airplane enthusiasts. Over the years John
got into sport bike riding through Reg and began
attending every CLASS he could make. As a result
John has become an excellent student with a
great ability to pass the knowledge he is
absorbing onto other students. Also an avid dirt
bike rider - he and Gigi find time to work on
their jumps out in the river bed behind the
airport! |
 |
Mason Hansen
- Medford, OR
CLASS
Instructor: 7 years
Mason has been riding
since before he could
walk and has been coming
to CLASS with dad Craig
ever since he could ride
a street bike. He helps
Craig run the motorcycle
shop in Medford, OR
which, along with
customizing his bikes, working on his new home
and taking good care of his lovely bride, keeps him busy
full time. But when we can
get Mason to break away
and come
to CLASS, he's a really
fun addition to the
CLASS team! |
 |
Jeff German -
Murphies, CA
CLASS
Instructor: 3 years
Don't let the soft spoken manner fool you,
this guy can ride and play with the best of
them! Jeff has been riding with Reg since the
early 90's and his skill has grown tremendously.
Like all of our team, Jeff has a passion to help
riders reach their full potential and we're
lucky to have him around. Come to CLASS and get
Jeff to help you - it's a lesson you won't soon
forget. |
 |
Allan Eastbourn -
Latrobe, PA
CLASS
Instructor: 3 years
A student since 1998, Allan
became a regular fixture with us in the paddock
over the past couple of years and his skill
level has ratcheted way up! Freshly steeped in
Pridmore education, he's excited to pass on what
he's learned to you. A jet jock (pilot) for a
day job, Allan brings a lot of skill, talent and
knowledge to the CLASS table. Glad to have you
with us Allan! |
 |
Clark Attebury -
Detroit, MI
CLASS
Instructor: 3 years
Another student since 1998, Clark has been
soaking in as much as we can give. Now he's
giving back to you as a CLASS instructor.
He has a lot of skill and a fantastic ability to
express what he's learned to help others on
their journey up the skill ladder. A soft spoken
gent, you might not ever guess he's a TV
producer with fingerprints all over many of the
things you see daily. With his boyish good looks
and charm, Clark's a hit with the ladies. |

Hayley
Snow-Helton - Santa Paula, CA
CLASS Office Manager: With CLASS 8 years
If you've called the office, chances are
you've spoken with Hayley. She holds down the
fort most of the year and brings a lot of
fun and enthusiasm to the office. She
handles the enrollment and administrative duties
in the office and keeps things rolling smoothly
when Reg and Gigi are on the road. If you're
wondering about the picture, she was boogyin' on
down on her wedding day! :-) |
