New date added: Monday,
September 28 at Willow
Springs (Big Track)
Back to VIR! After years of traveling
the country doing CLASS from
Seattle to Atlanta to New
Hampshire, Elkhart Lake to
Laguna Seca and more, over
the past few years Reg has
gradually skinnied the
schedule down to the west
coast -PLUS one incredible east
coast track:
Virginia International
Raceway! We will be
there July 9 & 10 and
whether you take one day or
both of them, we'll teach
you to ride better, and make
you a more confidant rider.
Thursday is just $295 and
we'll run 3 groups. (Buy a
Scratcher's Pass for $100
and ride 2 groups). Friday
is $395 and we'll run just 2
groups. Go for an easy ride with
Reg for yourself on the
YouTube Video. Don't miss Reg
Pridmore's CLASS on the east
coast this summer! This
one's worth a day or two's
travel time...
Right
now apps are rolling in for
VIR and we've got
some dealers filling the
ranks.
Special thanks to Morton's
BMW in Fredericksburg, VAfor getting a big group
together for VIR. Stu
Beatson, service manager and
coincidentally, CLASS
instructor, is the
ringleader on this one. You
can sign up through CLASS or
give Stu a call at the shop
and get in on his group!
We're making some very sweet
group deals this year.

Our
first trip back to big
Willow Springs in 4
years was by all accounts a
great experience. Lots of
Force 5 members and CLASS
regulars, as well as plenty
of new students had a great
time on the "fastest track
in the west". Willow was one
of Reg's first tracks at the
beginning of his race career
and being somewhat local,
became one of the tracks he
most frequented. He had
almost forgotten how much
fun he has there - and once
he got on his 600RR after
lunch, he didn't want to
come back in! The feedback
has been awesome and don't
be surprised to see big
Willow back on the CLASS
calendar on a more regular
basis.
May
was so good, we're doubling
it for October! This
fall we'll be back at
Infineon Raceway for two
days at one of the best
times of the whole year. And
we've just made some changes
to make the deal even
sweeter: Oct 12 & 13 CLASS
will have 2 one day, 3
group schools and they are
just $295 each! Take
both days and it's just
$550. Plus, we are making
some incredible group
discount deals, starting
with as few as 3 riders.
It's not too early to plan.
It's an awesome deal to ride
Infineon with the best
street riding school in the
country.
Be
sure to take advantage of our
awesome tire deal for your CLASS
event. The deal is this: $225 for a pair of
the incredible street Qualifier®
Tire or $275 for a pair of
super sticky Sportmax 209s.
You know that's an
unbeatable deal, so if
you've been or are coming to CLASS, order
tires for this great price
and they'll
be delivered right to your home or
office. But
don't miss out, order early and get
them on your bike now! Details
here.
We
recently had two great days
out at Streets. Read
Reg's account on what fun
and learning was had in the
California high desert. "Say what you will about
the desert, it's beauty,
it's starkness, it's highly
contrasting and sometimes
grueling weather conditions
help make it exactly what it
is: a challenge."

The
May Infineon Raceway days
were an total blast. The
weather was perfect, two
fantastic days with the
added treat of riding and
learning with one of the
best AMA racers of all time,
Rich Oliver. Lots of very
happy riders, including
Rich, who got a lot of seat
time on his Yamaha, and also
sat in and not only helped
with the classroom, but
learned a little bit more
about the art of the 4
stroke from Reg and the
boys! The 3 group CLASS on
Monday was well attended and
we must say, we've done a
really good job adapting to
the new format. The timing
and organization again went
of like clockwork. Special
Thanks to Kari Prager and
Cal-Moto
and
TriValley Moto for getting a bunch
of great guys in, and to
Kevin Kone, who got a dozen
of his best riding buddies
out to spend the day. On
Tuesday a big thanks to Dave
Harbin and his BAMT group
who helped fill the ranks!
Just a great time all
around.
A special thank you to
all of you veterans of
the U.S. military. This year
we have enjoyed a large
number of members of the
military taking Reg up on
his generous offer to those
who give so very much for
all of us. Why so many? It's
because we are offering
a military discount to all
members of the U.S. military
who have served in Iraq or
Afghanistan in the past 5
years. If that's you, you
are eligible for a very
special discount indeed - a
free CLASS at Streets of
Willow or $100 off any of
our other dates in '09. We
hope you will come out as we
extend our thanks and
welcome home that you
deserve!
Details are here.
Laguna
Seca was an absolutely
perfect couple of days -
Perfect weather, a great
group of riders and lots of
time to ride. Ian was there
capturing the magic and his
spectacular images are up

CLASS instructor Ted
Holman is back in
business with his
Automania of Grants
Pass, OR. Be sure to check
out his motorcycle inventory, which
includes a couple of bikes
from Reg's collection. It's
online at

Winning was only the
beginning:
It's been 30
years since Reg Pridmore won
his third AMA Superbike
Championship.
So in honor, we've come out
with a new CLASS tee shirt:
Celebrate some old school
with style in this cool new
tee shirt...
Check it out.
The
Force 5 Day at Streets was twice
as big this year as it was last
year, which goes to show just how
much fun we're have over at the F5
clubhouse. The track day, free to
members was a blast with the usual
SoCal contingent and a lot of new
friends as their guests! If you're
curious about F5, check it out over
at
www.forceV.org.
This
from a Force 5 member sort
of says it all... "I
have been to more than a
hand full of Class days at
Streets and still have never
come away without learning
something that makes me a
smoother rider. My wife
notices it from year to year
on or summer trips. Your
cost is $100.00 a day more
than other track experiences
I attend but worth every
penny. No one gives the
track time, on track
instruction and class room
information that you offer.
When I attend other track
events I am only trying to
practice what I have first
learned at Class.
Thanks again for all your
good work." You're
welcome Hugo...
Did
you know our good friend and
CLASS photographer Ian Donald takes
much more than just your trackside
photos? He's actually a world
class photographer and mostly
specializes in the motorsports
arena. Sir Ian has a new addition to
his website where you can sit back
and enjoy a slide show of various
superb and artistic images from his
talented lenses...check
it out here and give
it a few seconds to download, it's
worth it.
"They
are the nicest pair of gloves I've
ever put on" - Reg Pridmore. At
CLASS, Reg and the gang have used
and enthusiastically endorsed
Held Gloves since the early 90s.
But we're really excited because for '07 Held has come out with
the best glove ever:
the Phantom! Learn more
about it at HeldUSA.com or

Flashback - Just for fun... If
you've been to CLASS you probably
know we like to have fun - not just
on the track, but there's also a
great camaraderie amongst the
instructors that's very apparent. In
2005 Reg and several of the guys
went racing on their RC51s. Here's
Ted's version
of the first race - complete with
video!.
CLASS
has another top notch new sponsor!
Bohn USA Back and Body Protection
Systems. Reg and his team will be
wearing the American made Bohn
ProRacer Cool-Air Back Protectors
this season. Whether racing or
riding on the street , protect
yourself! For the best back
protectors and other really great
riding gear, check out all the
Bohn-USA products at
www.actionstation.com.
You already know we
like to sing the praises of CLASS, but it's really cool when
someone else does, like a nationally popular magazine.
Rider Magazine's Arden Kysely had a great day of
CLASS at Streets of Willow last fall and penned a glowing review
of his day in the May issue of the mag. Click over to our "Press" page for a few
of the highlights from the Rider article. And speaking of magazine
reviews, Derrel Whitemyer wrote another great one in the
April edition of Road Runner Magazine.
really old stuff...
Racing a
new track, meeting new friends - Reg's trip to France
was fantastic. The Bol D'or Classic at Circuit
Nevers Magny Cours this past July was great fun and
Patrick Bodden, Brian O'Shea and all of the Heritage
Racing Honda team were terrific. Reg and
teammate Charlie Williams did very well and had a great time
but there's more to the story than that. For a glimpse of
the trip, read the story here.
Reg
is honored yet again! " I guess this is what
happens when you get old and ugly" laughed Reg, who was
recently honored with the BMW Owners Club (BMW-MOA) Corporate
Safety Award. Due to school date conflicts, Reg was unable to
attend the Toronto convention in July for the award
presentation. But that didn't stop them: longtime CLASS
student and MOA Trustee Rob Lentini came out and rode with us at
Streets of Willow, and at the end of the day presented the award
in his own mini ceremony in front of the group. Rob, who is also
an MSF instructor, commented before the group, "Reg, you
and your organization truly deserve this recognition. Your
training merges well with what is taught at the MSF. I have
personally recommended your CLASS Schools to graduates of my MSF
courses over the years. Thanks for all you have done for
motorcycling safety". (Ed. note: This was fall of 2002. We
recently learned that Rob Lentini passed away in September of
2004 after an illness. Godspeed Rob).
In 2002 Reg Pridmore was
inducted to the AMA Hall of Fame. Reg went back to
Ohio for the ceremony and was joined by lots of friends and
students for this special and memorable occasion. For more
info on the AMA Hall of Fame, you can visit the AMA Motorcycle Museum
Online here.
